Welcome, and thank you for reading.

I’m Stephanie Porcaro.

I offer specialized therapeutic massage.

My specialties include:

✔ Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD)
✔ Post-surgical recovery massage (especially after cosmetic procedures, liposuction, joint replacements and repairs)
✔ Myofascial release
✔ Deep tissue massage & cupping
✔ Restorative relaxation massage
✔ Hot stone massage

I bring 23 years of intuition, education, and hands-on experience to my clients. I’m a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage. My lymphatic massage training is from the Arizona School of Medical Massage and Wellness, and the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. I’ve lived in Arizona for 10 years.

What makes my work unique?

Simple: a guiding philosophy:

✔ My clients know their own bodies best. They are in charge.
✔ We are always changing over time, and each session is a unique healing opportunity.
✔ My clients deserve my full attention and highest healing intention, every time.

My journey with massage started in my teens. My cousin had just become a massage therapist, and she gave me a neck and scalp massage. I was amazed at how it instantly centered and calmed me, and banished the tension from my body and mind.

That one massage stayed with me, and seeded my curiosity about touch therapy. I went to massage school in Baltimore in 2003, immediately after completing my undergraduate degree from St. John’s College. I’m also one of those lunatics who went to law school “just for fun” in my 30s. What can I say? I love to learn!

Notably, I am Board Certified for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (BCTMB®) through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. Fewer than 3% of licensed massage therapists in the US have earned this additional credential.

Board Certification is the highest voluntary credentialing designation available in the field of massage therapy.

Through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, I’m certified both in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), as well as for Advanced MLD protocols for post-plastic surgery.

What else?

Today, most of my business is through word-of-mouth, and I greatly appreciate referrals. Because of my medical and lymphatic massage focus, I often receive referrals from physical therapists and medspas in Prescott.  Post-op recovery is my passion, and I particularly love providing support to clients through the ups and downs (and eventually ups!) of recovering from surgery or serious illness.

When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, film, hiking, hanging out with my elderly cat, going out to eat, and traveling.

I’m deeply grateful to do work I genuinely love, in an environment that supports healing and recovery. Helping people feel more comfortable, balanced, and at home in their bodies is incredibly rewarding.

Please call or text me to discuss your specific needs. I look forward to serving you.

My regular sessions with Stephanie are a calming, nurturing necessity.
